How dhiphos.com handles the small amount of information we receive
from visitors and inquiries.
Last updated: 25 August 2026
Summary
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors
find and move through our pages. Analytics is loaded with all
cookies blocked by default; we ask for your
consent via a banner on first visit and only set Analytics
cookies if you accept. We do not run advertising pixels,
session-replay tools, or other third-party trackers, and we
do not sell or share your data for marketing. Beyond analytics,
the only personal data we receive is what you choose to include
when you email us (via the inquiry form’s mailto draft or
a direct message).
Who we are
This website is operated by Dhiphos Private Limited,
a company registered in Bengaluru, India.
What we collect
Inquiry form
Contact forms on this site (home, work, and migration pages) do
not transmit data to our servers or to a form processor. They
open your mail client with a draft addressed to
info@dhiphos.com, pre-filled with the fields you
entered (name, work email, company, interest, optional stack and
message). Only sending that draft transmits anything.
Direct email
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you
choose to include in the message body. We retain inquiry email
for up to 24 months, after which it is deleted unless an active
engagement exists or law requires longer retention.
Server logs
Our static-site host produces standard web-server logs (timestamp,
IP address, user-agent, requested URL). These are kept briefly for
security and abuse prevention. They are not joined to any other
data set and are not used for advertising or profiling.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (property
G-GHVMTXCPLV) to measure aggregate traffic
— pages viewed, referrers, approximate region, device
and browser type, and similar usage signals. We deploy GA
via Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage
categories denied by default; cookies are only set after you
accept analytics in our consent banner. Even then, Google
Analytics processes a truncated version of your IP address,
and never receives your name, email, or other directly
identifying information from us. Google acts as a data
processor on our behalf, and may also process the data as an
independent controller under its own terms; see Google's
privacy policy
and
business privacy notices
for details.
Consent
On your first visit, a banner asks whether you'd like to allow
analytics cookies. You can choose Decline or
Accept analytics; both choices are remembered for
12 months in your browser's localStorage (key
dhiphos:consent). To change your decision later,
use the
Cookie preferences
link in the footer of any page. We honor the
Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your
browser sends GPC, we treat that as an automatic decline and
don't show the banner.
Cookies
We do not set first-party cookies of our own. If you accept
analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies (typically
_ga and _ga_*) used to distinguish
unique visitors and sessions. If you decline, no analytics
cookies are set. We do not use advertising pixels or
session-replay tools. You can also opt out at the browser
level by installing Google's
Analytics opt-out browser add-on
or by using a tracker-blocking extension.
What we use it for
We use what you send us only to respond to your inquiry and to
deliver the products or services you've asked about. We do not sell,
rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
Hosting & third parties
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (operated by
GitHub, Inc.) and served from a global CDN, which may briefly
route requests through nodes outside India. The host receives the
standard server-log fields described above; GitHub's privacy
practices apply to those logs.
Analytics provider
Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC
(and, for visitors in the EEA / UK / Switzerland, Google
Ireland Limited). Analytics data may be processed on
servers outside India, including in the United States and
the European Union, under Google's standard contractual
terms.
Email provider
Email sent to info@dhiphos.com is processed by
Zoho Mail, our mailbox provider, who acts as a
data processor on our behalf.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and
comparable laws (including the EU GDPR), you have the right to
access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or
delete it, and withdraw consent for any processing that depends on
it. To exercise any of these rights, email
info@dhiphos.com. We aim to
respond within 30 days.
Children
This website and our services are not directed at people under 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
